No doubt we will hear more over the coming weeks -
especially each time he bogies it in future

Or the best one will be during the next 3 rounds of the Eclectic when he calmly suggests
​"I think I'll pick up the 16th, you can't better a 1 here" 

Anyway it was a magnificent Hole in One witnessed by Chris Barton & Steve Paterson.

Many drinks were enjoyed by the Musketeers that day, whilst Peter was busy on the phone to  his bank manager to organise an overdraft

During mid August of every year Pallane runs it's Club Championship.   The musketeers are fortunate enough to have several members that are of a high enough standard to seriously compete in this event that is run over 2 days.     

This year the Musketeers very own Lucy Hole became the leading player on the ladies side.   Scoring a very impressive 9 over par (82) on day one, Lucy was 1 shot behind Veronique going into the last day.    

So... as every golfer knows, proper preparation and practice is the key to all aspects of your game, in Lucy's case she dedicated herself to an evening out to see Kid Creole & The Coconuts in concert in Marciac that evening and raving until the early hours.

Sunday morning in tough conditions and with many players struggling to put in a competitive round, Lucy shoots and amazing 6 over par (79) and wins by 5 shots over her nearest rival.   Over the 2 days Lucy shot 3 under her own handicap, which is not easy on a challenging course like Pallane.   CONGRATULATIONS LUCY...
