Out on the course Pete had arranged for a nearest pin prize on each of the par 3s, a nearest the pin in two on the 11th and a longest drive prize on the 18th. David Smith won the nearest the pin on the 2nd, James Gibb was closest on the 4th, Nick Trantom won the prize on the 10th and Clive Robinson was really close on the 16th. Greg Conley won a prize on the 11th where the prize was for nearest the pin with the second shot, and the birthday boy himself won the longest drive.
In the main competition 3rd prize went to Rob Jones with 32 points, 2nd prize went to James Gibb with 34 points and the overall winner was John Wilkinson with 35 points.
It was a classic Musketeers day with much banter, an overdose of wine, some good golf and some not-so-good golf.
A big thank you to Pete for his excellent organisation and generous sponsorship.
